NIDEC SP1401-HF is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for high frequency applications up to 3000Hz max. in open-loop configurations with a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It features a frame size 1 with dimensions of H15.2" x W3.93" x D8.62" (H386mm x W100mm x D219mm) and operates on a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac). The rated current is 2.8A under normal duty and 2.1A under heavy-duty conditions. This wall-mounted unit is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. Communication is facilitated via Modbus RTU RS-485, supporting a network frequency of 48-65 Hz on the supply input and 0-3000 Hz on the output. It includes 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and analog inputs comprising 1 x (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) and 2 x (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with 10-bit and 16-bit conversion resolutions respectively. Analog outputs include 2 x (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) with a 10-bit conversion resolution. The rated active power is 1.1kW for normal duty and 0.75kW for heavy-duty, corresponding to 1.5HP / 1-1/2HP and 1HP respectively.
