NIDEC SP1404 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed with a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It features variable speed/frequency drive functionality within a frame size of 1, measuring H15.2" x W3.93" x D8.62" (H386mm x W100mm x D219mm). The SP1404 operates on a supply voltage of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac) and offers a rated current of 6.9A under normal duty and 5.8A under heavy-duty conditions. This wall-mounted unit is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and has a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. It supports Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol and operates on a network frequency of 48-65 Hz (supply input) and 0-550 Hz (output). The SP1404 includes 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and 3 x additional digital inputs (0-24Vdc). It also features 1 x analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) and 2 x analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 10-bit conversion resolution, along with 2 x analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) also with a 10-bit conversion resolution. The rated active power is 3kW for normal duty and 2.2kW for heavy-duty, corresponding to a rated power of 5HP and 3HP, respectively. This device is designed for a 3-phase input network.
