NIDEC SP0402-HF is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for high frequency applications up to 3000Hz max in an open-loop configuration with a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It features a compact frame size of 0, measuring H12.677" x W2.441" x D8.898" (H322mm x W62mm x D226mm), and supports a supply voltage range of 380Vac-480Vac (400Vac / 415Vac) with a rated current of 1.7A for heavy-duty operations. This wall-mounted unit operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1. Communication is facilitated through a Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol, and it accommodates a network frequency from 48-65 Hz (Supply input) with an output range of 0-3000 Hz. The SP0402-HF includes 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), and analog inputs comprising 1 x (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential) and 2 x (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended) with a 10-bit conversion resolution. Analog outputs include 2 x (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source) with a 10-bit conversion resolution. It is designed for a 3-phase input network and delivers a rated active power of 0.55kW and a rated power of 3/4HP for both normal and heavy-duty applications.
