The router is part of the FlexEdge DA70A Protocol gateways sub-range and is equipped with 3 sled slots for 4G cellular connectivity tailored for Australia, Wi-Fi, and serial communications (1 x RS-232 / 1 x RS-485). Connection interfaces include 2 x RJ12 ports for RS-232 serial communication, 1 x RJ45 port for RS-485 serial communication, 2 x RJ45 ports for 10/100BaseTX Ethernet connections, 1 x USB type A and 1 x USB type B connectors, and 1 x micro SD card port for additional I/O expansion. It also features 1 x RJ12 and 1 x RJ45 isolated ports via a media module for enhanced connectivity options.
