Panasonic SF2B-A6-N is a sensor array designed for arm/foot-protection with intrinsically safe, safety light curtain functionality rated at PL c / SIL1. It features an interference prevention function, auxiliary output protection circuit, emission halt function, and external device monitoring function. Constructed from polycarbonate (inner case), aluminium (housing), PBT (cap), and die-cast zinc alloy (upper and lower edges), it ensures durability. This model comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The protective height is specified at 232 mm, and it includes 2 x digital outputs (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2. The SF2B-A6-N can sense objects within a distance of 0.2m to 13m and has a current consumption of 35mA (emitter) and 45mA (receiver). It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 870 nm, a response time of 40-60ms for ON and 15ms for OFF, and can detect objects as small as 47mm in size.
