Panasonic SF2B-A36-P is a sensor array designed for arm/foot-protection with intrinsic safety features including a safety light curtain sensor that meets PL c / SIL1 standards. It incorporates an interference prevention function, auxiliary output protection circuit, emission halt function, and external device monitoring function. Constructed from polycarbonate for the inner case, aluminium for the housing, PBT for the cap, and die-cast zinc alloy for the upper and lower edges, it ensures durability. This model is pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The net height of the protective area is 1432 mm. It features 2 x digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 13m (0.656ft to 42.651ft), with a current consumption of 55mA / 0.055 A for the emitter and 85mA / 0.085 A for the receiver. The light color is infrared (IR) with a wavelength of 870 nm. It has a response time of 40-60ms / 0.04-0.06 s for ON and 15ms / 0.015 s for OFF, and it can detect objects as small as 47mm (1.850").
