Panasonic SF2B-A14-P is a sensor array designed for arm/foot-protection with intrinsic safety features including a safety light curtain sensor that meets PL c / SIL1 standards. It incorporates an interference prevention function, auxiliary output protection circuit, emission halt function, and external device monitoring function. Constructed from polycarbonate for the inner case, aluminium for the housing, PBT for the cap, and die-cast zinc alloy for the upper and lower edges, it ensures durability. This model is pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. It boasts an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. The protective height is 552 mm, and it features 2 x digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2. The SF2B-A14-P can sense objects within a distance of 0.2m to 13m and has a current consumption of 40mA (emitter) and 55mA (receiver). It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 870 nm and has a response time of 40-60ms for ON and 15ms for OFF. The minimum detectable object size is 47mm.
