Red Lion PX-SB1 is a digital temperature/process PID controller that features universal input for various processes including temperature, voltage, current, resistance, and more. It offers a programmable dual-line display that can show units and a bar graph, alongside four programmable universal annunciators. The device supports field-installable option cards for additional setpoints, communication, and retransmitted analog output. It is capable of ramp/soak functionality, allowing up to 16 profiles with 20 steps each, and can manage up to 16 alarms with Boolean logic functionality. The built-in USB programming port facilitates unit configuration via Crimson programming software. Designed for flush mounting, it operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50°C and a network frequency of 50/60 Hz. The PX-SB1, part of the PAX2C PID controllers series, is designed to reduce overshoot and comes in a 1/8 DIN vertical format (48x96mm), with dimensions of W49.5mm x H96.5mm (1.95" x 3.8"). It offers a degree of protection of IP65 NEMA 4X and supports a wide range of supply voltages both AC (40-250Vac) and DC (21.6-250Vdc). The controller accepts 1 x analog input with extensive range options including various thermocouple types, Pt100, Ni120 RTDs, and more. It also includes protection functions like heater current monitoring. The required door cut-out dimensions for installation are 91.44 mm in height and 44.45 mm in width.
