Panasonic PM-T54P is a compact U-shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin connector for connectivity. This sensor, with an IP40 degree of protection, features a PBT housing and is shaped in a U-form. It offers a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-T54P includes two digital outputs: one PNP open-collector for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs and is equipped with an orange LED for visual operation indication. The current consumption is rated at 15mA, and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
