Panasonic NA40-24 is a light curtain sensor designed for detecting objects within a 5m sensing distance. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C and features a protective height of 920mm. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m 4-core (3-core on emitter side) 0.5mm2 cabtyre pigtailed cable that includes an M12 connector for connectivity. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. The housing is made of aluminium, while the lens is constructed from acrylic, contributing to its robustness. The NA40-24 has a beam distance of 40mm between each beam and includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) for signal processing. It boasts a quick response time of 0.012 seconds and can detect objects as small as 60mm.

The FX-501P offers an IP40 degree of protection and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. Its current consumption is 40mA (0.04 A) under normal conditions and 28mA (0.028 A) in Eco mode, both at 24Vdc. The device has one digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and offers response times varying from 25µs to 24ms depending on the mode. It features a 4-digit red LED display and a 3-digit green LED display for clear indication, with a power consumption of 0.96 W in normal mode and 0.68 W in Eco mode.
