Panasonic NA40-10 is a light curtain sensor designed for various automation applications. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 degrees Celsius and features a protective height of 360 mm. It comes pre-wired with a 2m 4-core (3-core on the emitter side) 0.5mm2 cabtyre pigtailed cable, including an M12 connector, ensuring easy installation. The NA40-10 boasts an IP65 degree of protection, with its housing made of aluminium and the lens of acrylic, indicating a robust build for industrial environments. It has a sensing distance of up to 5m and a distance between beams of 40mm, making it suitable for a variety of detection tasks. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and offers a quick response time of 0.012 seconds. It is capable of detecting objects as small as 60mm, providing flexibility in application.

The device has one digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) and offers response times varying from 25µs to 24ms depending on the mode. It features a 4-digit red LED display and a 3-digit green LED display for clear indication, with a power consumption of 0.96 W in normal mode and 0.68 W in Eco mode.
