Panasonic M-DW1 is a photo-electric sensor designed for wafer mapping with an OFF-delay timer of 2 seconds and remote sensitivity selection. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and is connected via a pre-wired 0.3m / 30cm 5-core cabtyre cable with bare flying leads. The housing is made of stainless steel (SUS301) and the lens from acrylic. This sensor features a sensing distance of 4.5cm / 45mm and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 digital output (NPN / PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA) with outputs short-circuit protection and a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s. Additionally, it has 1 digital input for remote sensitivity selection, an orange LED for operation indication, a green LED for stability, and consumes 65mA / 0.065 A of current. The time delay feature is set to 2 seconds, and it can detect objects of size up to 76.2mm / 3".

It features a 4-digit red LED display and a 3-digit green LED display for clear indication, with a power consumption of 0.96 W in normal mode and 0.68 W in Eco mode.
