Panasonic AFP0RC14CRM is a CPU unit designed for automation applications, belonging to the C14 sub-range. It integrates a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU with I/Os, featuring relay contact outputs, and supports memory backup and self-diagnostic functions. This unit utilizes a Molex connector and a mini USB for connections and is mounted on a DIN rail. It has a connection capacity of 110 x I/O points and can be expanded with up to 3 expansion units. The memory capacity is 16K steps for programs and 12315 words / 12K words for data, supporting up to 4096 x I/O points. It includes 8 digital inputs with 24Vdc sink/source, including 6 high-speed 50kHz counters, and 6 digital outputs with NO contact type rated at 2A. Additionally, it features 6 analog inputs compatible with RTD Pt100/Pt1000/Ni1000 and resistance, with resolutions of 0.1K/°F and 0.01K/°F. Programming can be done using Ladder diagram (LD), Structured text (ST), Function block diagram (FBD), Sequential function chart (SFC), and Instruction list (IL). It offers protection through an 8-character password for setting and program upload. The processing time varies from 80ns/step for basic instructions up to 3000 steps, to 1620ns/step for high-level instructions after 3000 steps. Operating modes include periodical interrupt execution, interrupt program execution, constant scan execution, and program edition during RUN with download in RUN mode.
