NIDEC SP3506-HF is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter designed for high frequency applications up to 3000Hz max in open-loop configurations, featuring a single Safe Torque Off (STO) and air cooling. It has a frame size 3, with dimensions of H15.32" x W9.84" x D10.23" (H389mm x W250mm x D260mm), and supports a supply voltage of 500Vac-575Vac. The rated current is 22A under normal duty and 18A under heavy-duty conditions. This wall-mounted unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0°C to +40°C and offers a degree of protection of IP20 NEMA 1. It utilizes the Modbus RTU RS-485 communication protocol, with a network frequency of 48-65 Hz on the supply input and 0-3000 Hz on the output. The device includes 3 x digital outputs (0-24Vdc; source), 1 x digital output (2A / 240Vac; source; relay contact type), 3 x digital inputs (0-24Vdc), 1 x analog input (-9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; differential), and 2 x analog inputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -9.8Vdc...9.8Vdc; single-ended), along with 2 x analog outputs (0-20mA / 4-20mA / -10Vdc...10Vdc; single-ended; source). It is designed for a 3-phase input network, with a rated active power of 15kW (Normal duty) and 11kW (Heavy-duty), equivalent to 20HP (Normal duty) and 15HP (Heavy-duty).
